They are are producing a contemporary documentary series about mixed cultural relationships in Britain following couples who are about to move to the UK, or have recently come to live in the UK for the first time.
They are trying to get in contact with Anglo-Filipino couples who are either in the process of finalising their fianc?e/spouse visa, or couples who have successfully been granted entry to the UK together in the last few months.
The series, they hope to produce, will offer genuine insight into modern, cross cultural relationships between British men and foreign women who are about to come to the UK for first time. The documentary aims to challenge old stereotypes and explore the cultural diversity that can be achieved in such couples. The aim is to produce a series with a warm and informative tone, following the foreign women?s experiences of British culture for the first time - be that, food, family or work - and through their experiences and opinions, hold up a mirror to contemporary Britain comparing our cultures and values.
They are looking for couples who have recently settled in the UK but also those who are potentially about to settle in the UK in the next few months. They are hoping to speak to couples for an initial confidential research chat, firstly find out more about their own experiences and also to find couples who may be interested in taking part in the series.
